Did you know if you want to check your e-mail or go on line to look something up you can do this with your KINDLE, and you don't have to pay the cruise line for computer use. Using KINDLE for this is functional but horridly slow, but FREE. You have to turn your wireless on, go to menu, then experimental.Or go to menu and select search then choose go to web.

You do pay for an internet package.

using the cruiseline internet so so incredibly slow that I don't even bother...

Hey I just tried my Kindle, got on facebook by setting to homepage, going to menu, turn on wireless, go to search, type in fb.com go to web, as this is not your regular browser, you may have to answer questions to prove who you are, but once this is done, you can get in anytime, and yes! very slow, but a simple way to check in when on board ship. Losin.

oops! I should have said tried it at home, not planning on using at sea, maybe in port, if it will work! and only if an internet cafe not available.

Kindle, IPad or laptop all require a ship internet package which have a price unless you have some free minutes with a coupon or something like that.
