Default 1 year old on Freedom

This will be our 2nd cruise on Freedom and first with our daughter. She will be 14 months when we sail in April. Was wondering about diapers on board. Do they sell them or do most people pack their own? Would another option be to have them shipped from home to the ship or would this be too risky if they didn't show up?

Another question, has anyone used the babysitting service? We absolutely loved the shows and would like to go to a couple.

Thanks in advance!

One hint I would give you, is to bring a small blow up pool, to keep by your chair on the pool deck. This way, the baby can enjoy splashing around. Have fun!

On Freedom babies can use the splash zone, specially for them...

We will be sailing in the fall with a 13 month old. We are flying in the night before and staying in an area hotel. We plan to go shopping in Florida for things like diapers, wipes, sun lotion, blow up pool, sand bucket (for beaches and to fill up pool on lido deck), bottled water and small bottle of laundry soap. These are disposable things that would cost more to put in a suitcase to check (and lug!) then to just buy there.

I always travel with an extra bag or two to bring home souvenirs. I plan to use one (or two) of those bags for these items.

If you are staying in Lauderdale,vs Miami, try selecting a hotel on the 17th St Causeway, near the port, and Harbor Shops, which is next door to Hyatt Place.

Harbor Shops

You can walk around, and get all you need for the baby, and dine in some nice resturants too...
