Chops Grille/Portofino Question - Jewel of the Seas

Hi everyone - leaving in 51 days for my first cruise EVER. My first question in looking at the specialty dining...says $30/person charge...does that include anything on the menu? Could I choose more than one entree if I wanted to try different things? I understand drinks are separate, just wondering what the limits are the food items. Thanks!!

I am pretty sure, you can just choose one entree, but I will add, the portions are good size, much larger than in the MDR. There are more courses as well, so you will get plenty to eat, well worth the extra charge. I only ate at Chops and was very pleased with the food and service.

Thanks Donna - one more question, can you choose something from every course then for the $30? I guess I just don't know what that charge includes...thanks much!

You choose one of every course, believe me, there will be plenty.

I have to tell you, I love to try different things and usually order one entree but ask for a sample of something else. I have never had a problem with this what so ever. If you see something you'd like, go for it, especially desserts.
