We are sailing on the Liberty of Seas next week and going to Jamaica. I've been told various things about "drink packages"! Would appreciate any help with information. I'm told there are "cans" of soda available in your stateroom refrigerator for $1.50/can. We can also purchase a soda card and carry a cup around and get it filled anywhere at anytime (probably waiting in lines each time?) Does anybody know about the soda in cans and the exact cost of them? We want to have it in our room. We are told if we get room service to eat on our balcony, it will not include soda? Can anybody help us out with accurate information? Thank You!
No soda is included anywhere on the ship, unless you have the fountain card. You are welcome to get soda from any of the bars and bring it back to your room. Should you choose to drink the soda provided in your room, you will be charged on your seapass account.
The "Soda Card" is $6.90/day. $48/week. The Soda Card is only good for fountain soda.
A single "can" of soda will cost you $1.95.
If you get to know certain bar tenders you can get can coke free with your soda card. On the Mariner this past November the fountain drinks tasted terrible so got cans poured into a glass. Just tip them at the end of the cruise.

Reason: adding word
Canned pop is available for $l.95 a can, from the bar or in the room fridge. When orderering room service, just tell them you want canned pop and they will bring it up with your meal and charge your sign & sail card along with 15% gratuity. I am hooked on Diet Coke, so before we go back to our room from the pool, I stop at the bar by the pool and get a six pack or 2. They usually ask me if I also want a plastic "tub" filled with ice to go along with it.
