Is there a Captian's cocktail party?

Hi everyone I'm have cruised mostly with Carnival in the past. But my hubby and I wanted to try something new. Plus I have been wanted to see Freedom of the Seas since it first started sailing. Anyway I know Carnival cruises like the back of my hand. But Royal I don't know at all. Does Royal have a Captain's Cocktail Party with free drinks? Does Royal do Karaoke at night? My last cruise with Royal was 1994. Does Royal do a past guest party? Should I try to get past guest status. Thanks for your help.

You should try to get your past cruise status. You will have to prove it to them though, they won't try to help you.

The have a past passenger cocktail party with cheap wine and a concoction of some sort they call a drink. Rum punch maybe? I forget. We never drink the wine as it actually burns my throat but I will take the rum punch if we happen to attend.

There is a coupon book you would get as a C&A member with a few % off things. I can't remember what else is in the gold member coupon book. As you work your way up the ladder, some of the perks are not too bad although they did take a lot of the better ones away.

Kat, we enjoyed the Cocktail parties on our four RC cruises, I found them to be quite fun.
