Default New "Sunshine Class"

I wondered if anyone knows about this newer class of cruise ships being built? Where it might be going? When would be the inaugural cruise? When they might start booking? If you've even heard about this?

I did hear about it on my last cruise, Allure of the seas, not a whole lot of info, other than a smaller size...I too would love more information on this class, could be a winner.

Now that the ships are actually being built there is a lot more talk about them. I think they'll be a hybrid of the Oasis and Freedom class ships.

Here is a link to an earlier thread discussing the Project Sunshine project.

Take care,
Mike

This has been news for 1 1/2 years and I'm just hearing about this???? How embarrassing, for me!!

I still can't wait to follow her journey, even if it started awhile ago!

Thumbs up

Sounds like the type ship that I will want to try.

Looking forward to it.

I agree Manuel,
You and me both...I'll have to hear what the destinations will be, getting tired of the same islands all the time, hopefully something new....I wonder now, with the new pier in Barbados if that may be a stop??

I've been kinda' following this for a little while and the wife and I have agreed the we will be cruising in the fall of 2014. I called Royal Caribbean and asked them when will we be able to book cruises for fall of 2014 and they said Oct. Nov. we should be able to see cruises for 2014. Right now the RCI website only allows you to see up until May of 2014.
