IS deck 6 THAT bad?

Have seen in a couple of places that the 6th deck on Independence of the seas is one of the worst decks on the ship. we are booked on cabin 6590 and as far as I can see there are staterooms above us but deck 5 is filled with public areas. A little nervous about the noise at night. Anyone have any insights on this deck/stateroom?
