Thanks again in advance for your answer/advice. Now I understand this is Royal Caribbeans "private island" gated area. My question is once we are off the ship in this area, are all the activities included in my cruise price or is there additional costs for the water slide/trampoline type of things I've seen in pictures?
For your cruise fare you get the beaches and barbecue lunch. Things like the zip line, jet skis, etc., are sold as excursions. Look here. If the link goes to something about checking out cruise deals just click on the link for 'continuing onto' at the bottom of the page.
Here is a video of the "coaster" at labadee in case anyone hasnt seen it. Looks a little...I dunno....dangerous. I have a feeling that with all the regulations in the U.S.....you'll never see one of these close to home
Can't answer the question on beverages, but I have been on the coaster.( last june) It is fun , more scary than fun though. Each person has their own car to ride on and each car will be spaced about 75ft apart. Your brakes are controlled by a hand lever and once the cable pulls you to the top of the hill,it releases you and gravity takes over. You can get to going very fast, So safety depends on the person behind you. If they aren't paying attention or don't pull up the brakes in time it will be bad! kinda pricey though, I think it was about $35 per person and last about 3-4 minutes.
Soooo, should I assume then that if you buy the alcohol package that you will be able to use it at Labadee as well
I was told the alcohol packages can be used at Labadee and Coco Cay since the bars there run just like those on the ships. You cannot use the package to order from room service, and I think there are some other restrictions too but I don't recall them.
