Very cool! I'm still curious as to where she will be docked for her home port!

Doesn't the Verrazano have a height limitation for ships? That's why Freedom and Oasis class ships can't sail there.

How high are the Queens (Mary,Eliz & Victoria) ? Saw them go under???

My mother always said don't get your hopes up too high. Too late! I would be really, really bummed if Quantum is not coming to Bayonne!!!

Unless old age has dimmed my memory. I recall the Freedom sailed with great fanfare from NYC covered on the Today show so that class can sail under the Verrazano Bridge. I remember watching it sail away from my office window as I worked in Lower Manhattan at the time.

Doug may be right.....I thought I read a Freedom class ship can go under the bridge....just barely but can.....

Royal will figure something out and have Bayonne home to if not Quantum then Anthem.

Long time no see Your Majesty <deep bow> . I believe they had to sail at low tide if I recall correctly.

Yes it did sail at low tide and made it under the bridge with inches to spare.

I hear Quantum will employee a Superhero...everytime Quantum has to go under the bridge the superhero will lift the bridge higher.

They may do away with Captain's night and have Superhero night instead!

and when not on Bridge Lifting duties he can be used in other areas...Rock climbing lessons, flowrider lessons, luggage handler pre and post cruise, and he would be a great addition to 70's night village people...(the Indian).
