Has anyone left Port Libery NJ in early March to the Caribbean. I am looking to find out if the two crusing days to the caribbean were warm enough to use the pools on the ship?

We left Port Liberty on a cruise in mid March to the caribbean . It depends on the ship .The one I was on had a retractable roof over the pool.

If first day it will probably be too cool, but mid day of first full day at sea, you will be near the North Carolina/South Carolina border, so you should feel things warming up. Obviously by the time you hit Fla, you should be good to go for the pools.

I just got back last Sunday from the Caribbeans. We left from Port Liberty. The first day is still kind of cold, but the 2nd day is definitely nice out and you can probably go swimming. If you don't want to swim, the hot tubs are usually quite warm. :-) Didn't seem to bother people that it was cold out, they still went in. The first day we were on-board, the pools were closed up due to the waves (plus it was too cold for me).
