Booked an Inside Guar. was then assigned an inside Cat. L deck 10.....went into my booking today to notice that I now have a Boardwalk balcony deck 9 by the Aqua Theater.

Sooooooo excited!! Thanks Royal Upgrade Fairy!! XOXOXO

Cruise #20 finally the Upgrade Fairy pays me a visit!

Thats great ,enjoy . In 2008 we got an upgrade from an outside cabin to a balcony.

I have not had a Grasshopper on the Rising Bar, but hopefully they can make them. I will find out next month.

We were upgraded at the pier, from the cheapest inside to a midships balcony- I liked that!

I think you only get upgraded from the cheapo inside to a balcony is if you have "Queen" in your Cruisemates screen name....

I hope when I get to the pier I still have my Boardwalk balcony and they don't stick me back in the cheapo inside...

I wonder if cruisers ever got downgraded at the pier??

Have you looked at the sailaways on the Port Everglades site-
Port Everglades Webcam - A Fort Lauderdale Cruise Ship Web Cam Oasis is there on the right this morning.
She will pull out at 5pm.
Your relatives can watch you sail away at 5pm tomorrow. Be on the port side and this webcam will be taking videos of everyone waving!
Your room is in a good location. The aquatheater show is just stunning; it's
the best thing I've ever seen at sea. Get ready to do some serious walking, it is one HUGE ship.

I like to relax for a bit before bedtime, have a snack and a drink. The balcony is a perfect place for it.

I'm up by 6am

and some days have coffee on the balcony. With the boardwalk balcony I thought there would always be cruisers on their balconies opposite mine. There were times I was the only one on the balcony. I thought more cruisers would be using their balconies. ALso in the late late night nobody is out on the balcony it's quiet enough you can hear a pin drop.
