Tomorrow we will board the amazing Oasis of the Seas.

Have an awesome cruise TM on the Outstanding OASIS Of The Seas!!

Amazing Allure and Outstanding Oasis are excellent ships to consider a Back 2 Back in the future!
Or even start with Oasis then get off and stay overnight in FLL then hop on Allure.

I just came back from the Outstanding Oasis and we had a wonderful cruise.
This was our second sailing on the Oasis and it was a fantastic A+ cruise.

The entertainment, the food and the service were all excellent.

That is what I have done in the past. I used to always have a cruise or two booked, but now I will have wait a while before I do book something. We have some family issues that could cause us to travel at a short notice.

I would love to cruise on the new Royal ships that will coming out before too long.

The new Royal ship will be great. I wonder if Royal is putting her in NY to compete with NCL Breakaway, which will be based there.

I had a feeling Quantum was going to Jersey!! Can't have Breakaway there without a brand spanking new Royal ship......It's great for the northeast cruisers to soon have two awesome big new ships.

I agree that people in the Northeast deserve some new ships, but since I moved to Florida, I do hope that we get some more new ones as well.
The Oasis is being refurbished over the summer so it would be nice to try her again.

It's wonderful for the Northeast to have Quantum.....Florida may get Anthem!

Oasis, Allure, Quantum and Anthem...all great ships for a Back 2 Back!!

Keep me posted what you are thinking of booking next in the future....but first I must say goodbye to my Beloved Explorer since I think she will leave NJ once Quantum gets here.

Your photos made me go back and look at my photos from our Oasis cruise in Oct. I can't wait to go again. We were going to sail on Explorer in March 2014 but I think we're going to wait and go on Quantum. Bayonne is close and we can get dropped off. No hotels or planes. And we can't afford two cruises that close right now.

Even though Oasis was an awesome ship the thing that really made the trip was the crew! They were awesome. The MDR staff was second to none! We got to be friends with staff that were not even serving us!

I can't wait for my next RCI cruise!

I have to fly to all ports since I'm landlocked in Ohio. So I will look at Bayonne when Quantum gets there.

Yes I agree with you the crew on Royal are awesome!! You may want to keep an eye on any good deals or even last minute deals (within final payment)

Good deals are out there just gotta look and be alittle flexible.

It's a treat to drive to the ship....no air and hotel....

Of course flying, flight delays, hotel rate, baggage fees are all worth it for Allure and Oasis....

Sure wish they would give us something here on the west coast out of the Port of Los Angeles. We are starved for cruises. Don't really care for the other cruiselines leaving out of the port of L A so we fly to all of our cruise ports. Begging here in So. Cal. for a RCI ship that doesn't go to Mexico or Hawai'i.

Hope you guys in the West coast get a ship!! There is still ship movement to take place in the future....Where is Explorer going? Where will Anthem go? Rumors say Anthem is going to Orlando then where would Freedom go? and where is big girl Oasis #3 going? I would think Cali would be a popular departing port since there is so much in the area to do for a pre cruise and/or post cruise stay.

I spoke with Capt. Johnny who used to be the Captain of Mariner of the Seas, which was based in California; anyway he was on Allure and I spoke with him about pulling the ships out of California; this is what he said; Most Californian's drive or fly down to Mexico; and have been to Cabo, Puerta Vallarta, Mazalan and when they cruised with Royal they never left the ship, because they had already been there; Royal makes money on shore excursions and the local ports depend on people spending money; so when 1/3 of the ship stays onboard; no one makes money; except the bar tenders. Does this makes sense as to why Royal pulled out? Capt. Johnny said; "its about making money or the lack of it in California" Royal has no immediate plans to base a ship there as of today.

AF1, Yes I had heard this from one of the cruise planners from RCI. I had the opportunity to sail on the Mariner to Mexico before she left. Your statement is true. Most people either stayed on board or got off the ship and walked the area close to the ship. We were told on that cruise that the Mariner was being pulled. Also there was plenty of violence in Mexico at that time and I believe Carnival had suspended cruises there for the time being. Guess I'll have to keep flying to get to my cruises.

Seadog2; I have to fly to all the ports; I am landlocked in Ohio; and so far Royal or any cruise line hasn't put a ship on Lake Erie. Although, American Queen and Delta Queen both sail into my hometown of Cincinnati.

Now that I live in Florida it's very easy to fly to my favorite cruise ports.
So cruising on the Allure or the Oasis is just a drive away.
