Not much of a price spread between inside and balcony on those first two. Why bother with an inside when a balcony is just $130 more?

Good prices!
I agree why not bump up to a balcony cabin for the small amount in price.

Pricing is not too bad for this new ship. I agree that balcony should be the way to go.

I found the balcony prices on the inaugural not bad at all, all things considered.

Rates are not as high as I thought they would be Actually Breakaway prices out higher for their 12 nighter for balconies at 2,049. and insides same as Quantum at 1,399. However the Bahamas route on Breakaway are 599. in Dec. (not holiday sailings). And Carnival out of NY for their 7 night Bahamas route are 359.

I was pleased with the rates. Of course I would always like to see them lower. I have a friend who was on Breakaway for the inaugural cruise and he loved it. He has never been on a RCCL so he's bias towards NCL. But that may change this spring when he sails on Oasis!!! He's going after seeing my photos and hearing me rave about the ship & crew. Looking forward to seeing what he has to say.

As for Carnival. ~ different league. Not saying I would never go on another Carnival cruise but it's not likely. Never say never....

Yep I would have liked lower rates too.... I'm very interested in Breakaway and looking to book it sometime in the future. I'll continue to read reviews as cruisers post them.

Never say Never..... A Very different league!!

A couple of sites were confused because there are two different 11 day cruises.

I forgot to mention before that when we were booking we ended up on deck 7. I asked about getting a balcony on a higher deck. I was told they start at $220pp more to get the higher decks.

I'm curious what other people paid for what decks??? We paid $1,579 our cabin on Deck 7. Could have had an "obstructed view" balcony for $1,399. But I was not sure how "obstructed" they were so I spent the extra. The cheapest balcony is now listed at $1,599 on VTC. (Up $200 since Tuesday)
