Just back from the Oasis OTS

Just got back late Saturday from our 7 night western caribbean on the Oasis OTS. Clearly RCI has raised the bar on cruising with the Oasis class ships! This was out best cruise ever. My wife was very skeptical about a large ship, but within 1 day onboard, she was hooked. This was my 4 year old daughters very first cruise, and she is hooked now as well. She LOVED the Adventure Ocean, begged to go back every day and evening. One thing we loved was the Family Time Dining, every night at dinner, the wait staff would bring our daughter her food right away, and at 6:50 the Adventure Ocean staff would come to the dining room and take the kids to Adventure Ocean.

The service, food and activities were spectacular. Our CD was Dave Chapman, he did a very good job. We are certainly hooked on the Oasis class. The shows were spectacular, especially the diving shows and the improv comedy show literally had me on the floor laughing.

Can't wait for our next cruise on an Oasis class ship!

Appreciate your review! We sail Oasis in a few weeks, and can't wait.

Nice to know your daughter enjoyed AO. My kids were 5 and 4 when we sailed FOTS and they weren't huge fans of the kid's club (compared to other ships). I'm hoping they enjoy Oasis more (they are now 7 and 6).

We haven't tried FTD yet.

Yep, my favorite ship. Glad you guys had a great time. It's hard not to on the Oasis.

We loved our cruise on Oasis. And we spent two days following hurricane Sandy!

My favorite place during the trip home behind the storm. The hot tub watching the ship plow through the high seas with little or no reaction!

Love the excitement for these ships! 15 more sleeps!

I have a client on the Oasis right now. She had texted me from the ship the first evening rather apprehensive because of the size and again on Monday saying there were a lot of people.

Therefore I had expected she would probably be happy to leave the ship at the end of the week.

Well, this afternoon she texted again to see what is available on it next week. I haven't heard back from her yet. rofl

Amazing story Felix,
So often, we hear how cruisers don't want to give these ships a try, because they feel they are just too big. Well, here we go again, someone else ready to get right back on....I always felt, while on Allure of the Seas, that knowing there are thousands of passengers, I never felt crowded or had to wait in any long lines while in the buffet or getting off the ship....They truly are amazing ships and one that all cruisers should give a try at least once, possibly more if they love it like we do.
