renting a wheelchair
Has anyone rented a light weight wheelchair that would be suitable for sightseeing? We don't need it daily for the ship but it sure would be nice to have for island shopping. The piers are just getting longer and longer as we get older and older. Thanks

If you google chair rentals form your departure port, you will find the help you need. One thing to remember, don't leave it outside your cabin. The odds of it being "borrowed" by someone are high.:(

Depending on the ports you visit, just know some of the curbing is very high, and some streets are cobblestone, which is hard to maneuver over. All the above is worth it though, for the person you are pushing to enjoy the surroundings. Have fun on your cruise.

I use Cruise Lines - SPECIAL NEEDS AT SEA for my clients who require wheelchairs etc. They are very reasonably priced. October 23rd, 2013 01:44 PM

We use Special Needs at Sea, also, and our clients have always been very happy with the service and the price.
