Default First time to Basseterre, St. Kitts

Good morning. I was hoping someone had any good ideas as to what to especially do/see on St. Kitts? We've done the zip-line thing, 4 x 4's, sails around the island doesn't cut it and scuba diving is out of the question (the other is very claustrophobic).

Not too many choices left but hoped somebody did something amazing that should not be missed.

Thanks as always CM's.

You can always take a cab to "turtle" beach...nice ride and small beautiful beach, with restaurant/bar...Quite a few little monkeys around that you can feed....

Thanks Donna. Have you ever taken a shuttle over to Nevis???? RCCL's website is down now but I thought I saw something about taking a ride to there.

People like the little train ride, very pleasant but not mind blowing for us. I am advised Cockleshell bay is good. Possible security problems there at one time.

No, never made it over to Nevis, but when we were at turtle beach, it was so close, so there must be a way.....Just check the time schedule, may take too long to travel to make it on time??

RCL used to do St. Kitts years ago. Now they are back again. When we did it back "when" we stayed the day at the most beautiful beach I've ever been to, but I can't remember the name of it.

Initially we attempted to book a Nevis tour from St. Kitts with a private tour operator but it didn't work out so we booked through the ship. It was a great tour.
