Who is Cruising in 2014??

With the new year upon us in a few days....what are your plans for cruising in 2014??

Already booked? or in the planning stages? or considering a cruise?

when/where/ship......are you booked, planning or considering.

Anyone booked or considering Quantum in late 2014??

For me it's Freedom of the seas (West caribbean) right after the New Year.
Considering Allure in April or May (don't care which itinerary)
Also Considering a Halloween cruise (or fall) not sure which ship yet. Looking into a few options.

Happy New Year everyone!! Health, Happiness and cruising for 2014!!

I'll probably do the Epic again once it moves over to the western Caribbean after the new year. Did 3 weeks eastern in a row and would like to go back. Also likely a Panama Canal if I can find a good deal.

Always on the lookout but haven't booked yet. :)

We will be leaving tomorrow for Ft. Lauderdale. On Sunday ( Dec. 29th. ) We will board the Independence of the Seas for a New Years Eve cruise.
No plans at this time for more cruises because we will be flying to Italy in March and to Ct. for at least three occasions before the end of July.

Serenade Of The Seas on January 4, and then Royal Princess in April. Nothing set for next fall yet, but I expect that will change!

Leaving Feb. 16th for 7-day eastern. Also looking at either Oasis or Allure in May. Will do our group cruise in the fall.

2 right now; A 3 day quickie on Enchantment in late January and a transatlantic (first one) in April.

Still want to do Alaska later on in the season!

A South American cruise is in our future aboard the Golden Princess (rebooked from last year as we were asked to give up our room/cruise for a great deal!). And, shortly after we return from SA, we will cruise to Alaska aboard the Island Princess and do a land tour.

Help - Time to get off the ship (cruise) and catch a flight

My husband and I booked a cruise (Royal Caribbean), that will arrive in Miami port at 7 AM (the end of the cruise). So, based on that we bought a fligth to Los Angeles, departing from Miami International Airport at 10:20 AM. Once the time from the port to the airport is 30 mins, we thought we had plenty of time...But now they are saying (Royal Caribbean) that is not enough time, and that we will start to get off of the ship around 9 AM!!!

Please, we need to know who cruise recently, and how long does it take to get off the ship when it arrives in the port!!! We dont want miss our flight!!

Thank you!!

Villager January 2nd, 2014 07:04 PM

Generally walk offs start leaving the ship between 7:00 and 7:30. Arrange to walk off and carry your own luggage off the ship. They usually only permit you to have one piece of luggage if you are taking it off yourself, so if you have more get prior okay from guest relations. Same thing happened to me. I took a transatlantic on the Liberty OTS to Ft Lauderdale. I walked off, took a cab to Ft Lauderdale airport and was checked in before 8:15.

May as well add my name to the list. Sailing the Allure in May with friends for the second time. That's probably it for this year as I am doing a Hawaii land based trip in December.

Will be on the Equinox on March 24 for an 11 night cruise with my husband and friends then on the Allure of the Seas on August 3 for a "girls" cruise with my sister and friends and then on the Norwegian Sun in October for the "Blues Cruise" out of LA. Can't believe we have (3) cruises booked for 2014.
