How much on board credit do you get when you book another cruise on board?
We booked an 11 day cruise on Explorer when we were on Oasis and I thought we got $200 on board credit. When Quantum went on sale we transfered our reservation from Explorer to Quantum. I was told everything would just transfer over. Today I was reviewing our reservation and noticed that we only have $100 on board credit???
Carnival Fascination 11/01/04, 5N
Crown Princess 3/27/10, 7N Oasis of the Seas 10/20/12, 7N
Celebrity Silhouette 2/09/14 7N Quantum of the Seas - 12/01/14, 11N
Celebrity Summit 4/25/15 8N
At first I thought it was because the Quantum cruise was under 10 days, but now I see it is an 11 day cruise so it should have the same booking bonus as your Explorer cruise. I don't know the answer. Perhaps they have different rules for the Quantum? Could be just an error on the reservation? You'll probably have to call them or your agent to find out.
I vaguely recall some asterisked note about Quantum bookings on the flyers they had at the loyalty desk on the Serenade Of The Seas in January, but I don't have a copy of the form.
Like Dave said, it's possible the rules are different because it's a brand new ship. Talk to your agent and they'll be able to tell you what's going on.
