Default Are Steamers Allowed

I know this has probably been asked many many times but I can't seem to find the answer... Does RCCL allow you to bring a steamer with you.. I know that you can't have a travel iron. We are leaving next week on the Jewel and it would be great to know before I went.

Thanks!!

Technically, no. However, we have a small travel steamer we bought at Walmart many years ago and take that with us on every cruise. We've never had any problems whatsoever in over 40 cruises with it. Worse case scenario, they'll find it and tell you to come down to remove it from your luggage, but they'll usually give it back when you depart the ship. At least that's what RCCL did when we forgot to leave our dive knives at home and they found them when they did an x-ray on our dive gear.
