Default Royal Caribbean back in the port of Los Angeles

Royal Caribbean has deployed the Jewel of the Seas to the Port of Los Angeles for a 7 night Coastal cruise with stops in Santa Barbara, San Francisco (overnight), Monterey and then to Ensanada, Mexico. This west coast cruise will be great for us because no airfare is required. Finally something for us here on the west coast. The Jewel will also have an Itinerary leaving from the port of San Diego. Nice.

That is a nice cruise - how often will it run?

Too bad it is only two sailings on September, 26 and October, 3 of 2015 with a repositioning cruise on October 10th.

I know the market dictates how many ships and how long of cruises go out of the L.A. area but I would also like to see more because of the lower cost of airfare. Hopefully more will be added in the future.

Take care,
Mike

Oh, too bad, I thought they would stay there and test the market a bit....only two doesn't really tell the story....We can hope they add some more in the near future for all those west coast cruisers.

That is great for the West Coast!! Did you book one or perhaps both (B2B) sailings?

If that became a regular cruise, then I would consider it. Some nice stops there to explore.

CQ, no I haven't booked yet but will real soon. I have two cruises booked already. One on the Quantum in December 2014 and another on the Oasis in June of 2015. If (and that's a big if) this becomes permanent then I would consider the 15 day reverse Repo cruise from San Juan to the Port of Los Angeles. That would most likely be in 2016. I would also consider Sept. 2015.

Cool!! Nice when a cruiser does not need airfare and the precruise hotel!
