Default Let's talk Vision of the seas

My wife and I are looking at the Vision of the seas 10 day cruise leaving
Ft lauderdale Sept 1st 2014 Ports include Charleston South Carolina, King's Wharf bermuda 2 1/2days, Nassau and Coco Cay island. This would be our
32nd cruise so we have been everywhere except Bermuda. So here are some of my questions.

Is Bermuda nice, easy to get around? How are the beaches in September. Warm water above 82 degrees? Also about the ship. Is it the same as the Grandur of the seas? Does the ship Have a Park Cafe? Please answer what you can and add whatever you think we need to know. Thanks Ed

Ship was re-done just like Granduer; so it has the Park Cafe, Outdoor Screen, both club lounges, Chops, Giovanni and Izumi. I'm sailing on her in July for 9 nights and again for new years out of tampa. She's a good ship (if you like the vision class as a whole).

Thank you for your reply. We are 95% sure we will be booking this Sept 1st sailing. If you have a minute when you get beck for your 9 day. Send me a cruise review. Or post one here.

Bermuda is beautiful. What we do is rent a scooter for 2 days. We go on one side of the island stopping at different beaches, some very secluded, and enjoy the views. There is a great "tea and scones" shop on the route which is very nice to visit. At the end of the day, we parked the scooters outside the ship and hopped back on them the next day. You will love it!!!!!

That sounds like a great idea. How much did a scooter cost for 2 days? Also which beaches did you like the most? Thanks Ed
