Lightbulb Another New First for RCCL and it's not on the Quantum Class Ships

As the title says, Royal Caribbean has a Cruise Ship first, not exclusive, so other ships and companies should follow suit in due time.

They have mapped out the Allure OTS (Of the Seas) using Google Street View. You can see the main decks, dining rooms, staterooms, function rooms etc.
It took 60 man hours, 8 days and over 20,000 pictures to produce. So you can now walk around the ship before you cruise. This helps people see how big she is and what she has on offer for you.

I like this idea of having this on all ships, it would make choosing a cruise ship alot easier and when you arrive on board, you will already have a good idea of where things are.

Take a look for yourselves here: Google Street View - Allure of the Seas | Royal Caribbean

That was actually very cool. Being at work, my computer was on the slow side so I can't wait to get home and play some more. Great idea on RC's part, once again!!!

Exactly Donna. We are all hoping that they do it with a Quantum ship, but she needs to be built first. Fingers crossed for the future.

Allure and Oasis will also have other "firsts".

The next one will be to have onboard high-speed Internet. That's coming in the next 30-45 days supposedly.
