Don't know about now, because they are changed out on a regular basis, so it would depend on the last time they were done.
They went through a complete renovation a few years ago and then they had a fire a couple of weeks later. We were on the first cruise after they came back from that and the beds had definitely not been replaced. Our bed was obvious concaved, so we ended up putting two toppers on it to fix the problem. Wasn't great, but at least it was more comfortable.
So if you find your bed on any cruise not to be as comfortable as you'd like, don't hesitate to ask you cabin steward for a topper. Often, it will be an egg-crate type foam topper, but we actually got a gel foam topper on one cruise and that was great! When we travel on Celebrity or Holland we usually never have that problem, but on other cruise lines we feel like we would love to bring our own gel foam topper with us!

I read that the Grandeur is no longer using egg crates because of bed bugs . I was told by my TA that I could get a board under the mattress but I also read that they do not have a large supply of boards.
