Seabourn and Northern Asia Destinations

Seabourn seems to shy away from the northern asian ports of Beijing, Seoul, Japan, etc. However, Oceania, Regent and others routinely offer cruises in this part of the world every year. These itineraries must be popular to keep offering them.
Can anyone explain why SB shuns these ports?

Actually Seabourn doesn't shun them, but rather doesn't have enough cruises to the area IMHO.

BUT wait for the new itineraries that will be out in the coming weeks. That just might change.

I did KAGOSHIMA, JAPAN, NAGASAKI, JAPAN, BUSAN, SOUTH KOREA, YEOSU, SOUTH KOREA, INCHEON (SEOUL), SOUTH KOREA, DALIAN, CHINA, XINGANG,CHINA, BEIJING, CHINA, SHANGHAI, CHINA, XIAMEN, CHINA, & HONG KONG, CHINA (sorry for the caps I cut & pasted) last year on the Pride. (I posted a review on another board.)
It was excellent & from what I have read, I am glad I did it on Seabourn.

These northern Asia ports are the ones I also want to see primarily, and have noticed the same thing. - pleany of calls in Vietnam, Bangkok, etc, but hardly anything in Japan.

I personally hope they choose to go there soon.
