My Recent Alaska Cruise Experience

Returned from my first week long Alaska cruise on June 8th. I traveled on the Star Princess (first w/Princess line too). My opinions:

Are Travel Irons Allowed In Cabin?

I suspect travel irons aren't allowed....due to fire hazard? Do you happen to know? My clothes always look terrible after two days crammed in suitcase - multi-leg flights and TSA inspections.

Rain Forest Was Great!

I did go on a tour of the rain forest in San Juan, but it was offered through the cruiseline. It was worth the money and included a nice scenic ride to get to the forest. Wear shoes that are good...
