Re: Booked Conquest but may do Elation..

One more thing--I see you are on these boards quite often. In fact, you've responded to my messages once or twice, I think. I'm assuming that you've cruised a lot.

We "won" our cruise in a charity...

Re: Booked Conquest but may do Elation..

I asked my agent about the Holiday out of Mobile beginning in October, and he told me that after cruising on the Conquest, any other Carnival cruise would be a let-down. Conquest is the largest and...

We parked in the Fulton St Garage for $84. A shuttle took us to the terminal and porters helped with the luggage. After the cruise, we debarked according to our luggage tag colors. We were told that...

Re: tell me bout the conquest...again

We just returned (3/7-3/14) from the Conquest cruise. It was terrific. We didn't much care for Jamaica, but we did the raft trip that was nice. We wanted to snorkle with the stingrays in Grand...

Re: Corey's & Co. on Conquest 3/7/04-3/14/04

We were on the same cruise. It was great, wasn't it? We especially enjoyed Corey's talented birds. My husband was picked to be part of the show, much to his embarassment!( He was secretly thrilled.)...

Cruise Shopper recommendations

We just returned from our first cruise on the Conquest. While onboard we watched the "feeds" on TV. The onboard shopping "expert" was constantly on, giving advice about buying jewelry and watches....

Re: Okay, who's got what trips booked? Another poll...

I leave in a few hours for Athens where we will board the Royal Princess. We have a Baltic in May 2004 booked, but who knows what we will book while onboard.

Re: Have you ever won?

I won $3200 in the final bingo game on the Horizon last October. It paid for our cruise earlier this year.

That's the closest I've ever come to winning a cruise.

Re: Pets

I have to admit that if I could bring my dog on a cruise with us, I would do it in a second. We do not have children, and she is everything to us.

Now in the same respect, I would not like to be...

We have been on Royal Caribbean, Princess and Celebrity. While we love the service and food on Celebrity, lately the itineraries on Princess have been more attractive.

I honestly have no desire...

Re: Transportation lauderdale-miami

I have never tried Tri-rail, but we fly in to Ft. Lauderdale all the time. The cruise line will usually offer a transfer for around $8-$10/pp.

Re: Non-Cruise Poll: What's your radio tuned to?

I'm with you Michelle, 80's all the way!

People at work think I'm crazy, but I LOVED the music from the 80's and I'm not ready to give it up.

At home, I turn the tv to the 80's music channel,...
