Re: Wind Warning

SueC...my cruise on the Wind was 2 years ago! Obviously NCL has not fixed the things that were bad then. I am sure people have complained on their comment cards, we sure did, that smell was awful and...

Re: scuba diving in Cozumel

Carnival does not have pre-booking of excursions. However, you can book on your own with an independent operator in Cozumel. That is usually a cheaper route.

Re: Wind Warning

Since you have not seen first hand, then you have no idea. The trend lately though has not been too good.

Re: Wind Warning

The Wind really does stink. Both metaphorically and literally.

Re: Paradise - empty ship?

We are booked for July 13th and I have not found anyone else going on that sailing. It will be nice to have the ship all to ourselves.

Hopefully it will be as good as it was last June when we sailed the Paradise for the first time.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Carnival's reputation

I agree. Although we never had a problem getting a chair on our Paradise cruise in June. There were plenty of chairs and the ship was fully booked. Now on NCL we never, and I mean never got a seat on...

Re: Re: Re: Re: some interesting stats

Ya got me, but if you look at the polls for ships that do exist. NCL does score very low.

Re: Re: What Carnival Cruise Ship is the best.

If you are a non-smoker, look at the Paradise. It is the ONLY non-smoking ship in the world. It is in the same class as the Imagination, etc.

I agree, that guy must be a real blue blood. Anyone so crass would be unhappy pretty much anywhere.

Re: Re: some interesting stats

To the best of my knowledge, the Conquest has yet to sail, hence no poll results. I could be wrong about that though.

Re: Re: recent Victory experience w/unruly teens

It happens everywhere, people are people. On our recent cruise on the Paradise we had a huge number of teens on board, but we did not see any problems with any of them. Maybe the non-smoking...

Re: Re: Re: Re: some interesting stats

Nothing could be further from the truth. Look at the polls yourself. Why does NCL score SO much lower than other lines? These numbers are posted by people who rate their experiences. It is great that...

Re: Re: Snorkel equipment

Ok, why do you need a vest anyway? Your body is naturally bouyant. Afterall, you have these huge balloons full of air in your chest that you have to fight hard to get 10 under the water because of....

I have never sailed the Norway, and I doubt I ever will. I have seen that ship up close and it does look very worn. Last year when the coast guard refused to let it set sail because the sprinkler...

Re: Re: some interesting stats

Ok, just look at the polls themselves. The base numbers speak for themselves. That is not bashing, thats how people on this board rate the different ships and by that the lines they belong to.

Re: Re: Re: Your LEAST favorite island

Jamaica gets my vote! Sure the island is pretty, but so is every other island in the Caribbean. The locals are the rudest people I have ever seen, and I have been to 31 countries thanks to the USAF....
