does anyone have a pix of what the configuration looks like when the 2 upper beds are down with the twin beds together (as queen?)-- we are traveling with 2 kids and would like to see where the TV...

Zaandam Outside room--privacy curtains

Do the curtains pictured on the HAL outside statetoom website close all the way between bed and sofa/vanity area for complete privacy? partial? or are they only for show? Thaks for info.

Zaandam quad room---berth over parents bed?

I belived I read somewhere that the 4th bed in Large Outside quad room opens over the double bed (twins together) instead of over the sofa bed as we are used to. True? Any pictures to share? Thanks.

Carnival anytime

There is a perception out there that Carnival has rowdy crowds---WRONG!!! I have been on the Spirit to Alaska and believe me, I was surprised by the age (lots of middle aged) some older---I think...

Independet tour at port

When we arrived at Juneau we walked no more than 100ft when we were approached for a bus tour for $22 per person. It was about 3 hours....went thru town, the surrounding areas, chapel by the lake...

Yes. We stayed at the Best Western Space Shuttle Inn--in titusville, Florida--$80/night. Only 5 miles or less from the Port. The Durango Steak House next to hotel is absolutely fabulous.

Mighty Great Tours in Juneau--any comments?

I found MGT's website and the prices look good. Does anyone out there used them before in any of the port calls for Alaska.

Our family will be cruising with Carnival Spirit Northbound Alaska on June 28, 2006. Looking for buddies for our girls (13 and 9)--since now they will need to attend separate Camp Carnival Clubs...

We like the Carnival Spirit inside passage from Vancouver (one way). The ship is great with staterooms bigger than most cruise lines. The balcony cabin is awesome when cruising Alaska.
