I took the train for the day into Rome & back...

I took the train for the day into Rome & back with 6 other people. We saw twice as many sites as those on the bus tour. The train is more relaxing. The time table is usually available aboard ship....

Please realize that the water in the pacific is much colder than in the caribbean. Our snorkel trip in P.V. was chilly, but the one in cabo was downright frigid! I'd consider more variety . john

Grenada Flattened

Preliminary reports from Grenada are that it is flattened by Ivan. Really really bad damage . Doubtful that it will be rceiving cruiseships any time soon. john
