Weather

Anyone know where to go to get a good weather report for the Carribean? We leave Sunday for 7 days on the Golden and would like to get an idea what to expect.

Thanks

Re: Golden Princess-over 60s crowd?

We'll be with a group of 5 couples in mid-April, all just turned 50.

Re: Roll Call-Golden Princess 4/17/05

We've had our reservations since last October. We'll be on the Carib deck, towards the back. Probably going to upgrade to balcony if we can.

Don't drink all of the Corona. Save a few for me.

Re: Inside vs. balcony rooms

OK, that does it, a little extra overtime the next 5 months should cover it.
Thanks for all the suggestions.

Re: Re: Inside vs. balcony rooms

Thanks for all of the advice. We're really going to have to give the balconys some thought. Since this is our first cruise, I want to do it up right.

Thanks again.

Re: Re: Re: Cruise Personalizer

Well Elvira, if I happen to meet you, it'll be as we're getting off the ship and you're getting on. We sail on April 17th and get back on the 24th. We've have to compare notes when you get back.

Re: Cruise Personalizer

Joe & Amelia, thanks for the help. As for the liquor, only the Corona is in danger.

Re: Re: Inside vs. balcony rooms

Our TA says that the outside rooms with balconys are running about $700 extra for 2 people. I sure would like to have one since this is our first voyage, but not at $700. I'll probably need that for...

Inside vs. balcony rooms

Our trip is planned with a TA and we have an inside room booked, but I'm considering switching to a oceanview room w/ balcony. Maybe someone can explain this to me. Just checking around on Expedia,...

Re: Re: Cruise Personalizer

Got the booking number and found out that we've been upgraded from catagory 'L' to 'J'.
A cabin on the Caribe deck, towards the back. Anyone know if this is a good room?

We cruise the week before, leaving the 17th, back on the 24th. Have you ever taken a cruise before?

Re: Re: Cruise Personalizer

The only thing from my TA yet is an invoice showing the date and times, etc. The only number is an invoice number. I'll give them a call.

Thanks Frank

Departure

First time cruiser. My wife and I are on the Golden Princess, 4/17/05, with a departure time of 11:00 PM.
What time would they start to allow passengers to board the ship?
