Re: Constellation

We were on the inaugural cruise of Infinity--through the Canal to

Re: Alaska Cruises

If you would like to have the maximum amount of snow and ice,
plan to go late in May. Our last trip was mid-may, and we had
an outstanding cruise, with the glaciers at their best. Remember,

Re: Rental Car ANC to SEW

We have booked a rental car with Hertz from Seward to Anchorage.

Re: Spring Break

There was a time when :"Spring Break" came just before Easter,
but that time has long gone. I believe that many schools have a

Re: Photos are under Backman's Alaska

We have never had a balcony on the stern of any ship, but in Alaska you
will want to be out on the deck and moving from port to starboard.
If you are prone to motion sickness--even though it can be...

Re: Cape Horn on Celebrity

Just found my notes on the Cape. The Penquin colony is at Punta Arenas.
We also found the Bay excursion at Ushusia most interesting, since it
includes the national forest and the most...

Re: Cape Horn on Celebrity

There are interesting excursions at every port--I have lost track of them,
but do remember one which includes the Penquin colony. This is a great
one and will be listed on your excursion...

Thanks for a good review--you included both the good and the bad. On
the problem of luggage, just a suggestion for the future. We never tag
our bags for the ship until after we have claimed them ...

Good research is the name of the game, and you are well on your way.

Re: Denali sidetrip

I'm not sure that I understand the time factor between the cruise and your

a car there and then returning it at the...

Re: What's the diff .. Princess/RCL/Celeb?

While you are considerilng the cost of the cruise, don't forget to check
