Yes Belize is a tender port and I don't know if a pier is even possible there as they dropping anchor so far out is because of the reef not because they do not have a pier.

You do NOT have to purchase trip insurance through carnival if you book with a PVP, you can purchase travel insurance on your own and get much better deals.
