I'd definitely recomend doing things on your own. Finding an cab driver who can understand and speak a bit of English should be no problem. But good luck trying to find one who's sort off...

Thanks to both of you for the info. The Belvedere was one of my picks too before i posted the thread, and I just checked the Travel Inn on Frommers and both rate nicely. I will be calling both hotels...
