I was tossing about getting a mini-suite on the Golden Princess but have decided I'd rather have the larger balcony on Caribe Deck, since this is a warm weather cruise,and we spend more time outdoors...

We are in C605 on the Golden to Hawaii in January - you are about 10 down from us (towards the aft). I think these cabins should be great - the balcony is large and partially covered.

Does anyone know how much a "day pass" might cost at hotels in Acapulco. We will be on a Princess cruise in October and would like to spend the day at the beach with a nice hotel for lunch.

Lexxity - Can you explain a bit more about a "guaranteed cabin". We always just go ahead and book and receive a cabin # etc. I don't understand why one would book a guaranteed cabin and not just go...
