Re: Re: travel iron

Re: Re: Explanation: What is “formal” for men.

sorry for the typ-o redhead. I'm in NY and there's a chain store called Syms here that sells name brand clothes at a discount. The thing they are really good at is they've got professional...

Re: Re: Wine--Good or bad?

I never said I thought you were insulting anyone. All I was trying to get across is that you don't have to be considered a big drinker to consume a single bottle of wine during dinner. Like I said,...

Re: Re: RCL Offering Bar Drink Cards

My wife had the specialty drink each day. I think they were 3.25 each so you saved maybe .75 cents per drink. If you don't want to get stuck wih a huge bar tab at the end of the cruise you should...

Re: Re: More nickel and diming

I agree with PeterV. They ONLY thing I saw the cruiseship loading up on while at various ports in the caribbean islands were cases of DUTY free liquor. The dozens of ships that leave Florida every...

Re: bring on the booze!!

We sailed on Enchantment of the Seas RCI last Feb and brought a couple pint bottles of our favorite hooch onboard with us in our carry on luggage. We had no problem getting it onboard through...

Re: Re: Passports to be required soon

Kari it all depends on which islands you are going to. Don't forget you are traveling to a foreign country when you stop off at various islands in the caribbean and while most of the islands have...

Re: Jeans in dining room on non-formal night

I didn't see any jeans at all in the dining room on my Royal Caribbean cruise. Not even on casual night. Khaki "dockers" type pants and a polo shirt were about as casual as I saw. At my table the...

Re: Tipping?? we dont bother

Lloyd said: "We pay big bucks for the cabin ..."

I'd say to Lloyd that he would be paying a heck of a lot more if the cruiselines had a "no tipping" policy like most of the all inclusive...

Re: Re: ive decided to go '' semi/casual for formal night''.

Re: ive decided to go '' semi/casual for formal night''.

Hey I'm in no way a fashion expert but it doesn't take much sense to be aware of what is in and out of style. For the same reason I know a powder blue polyester leisure suit is out of style, I know...

Re: Drink of the day?

Same as Boostermom for us. Drink of the day was 5.95 with a fancy plastic cup that you got to keep (woo hoo!). Buy the same drink in a regular cup and it was 3.25 I think.

Funny thing is you...

Re: Re: Advice at the Blackjack table.

It was my wife and I, and out daughter on the fold out couch of a junior suite. We paid pretty much exactly what the little guide they give you on the ships says you should pay. I'm guessing Suites...
