Thinking of NCL Spirit in October out of New Orleans. As far as a balcony goes, starboard or port, aft or bow? And isn't that pretty much at the end of hurricane season? thanks for the input.

They say to pack then remove half of what you packed. I normally do the "bundle pack" thing. Takes a bit more time but it works great - little wrinkling and the suit case holds more for bringing...

Have cruised several times but never with Holland America. On Princess in the "prepare for your Cruise" section there is a place to request a robe in your cabin. I am not finding this on the HAL...

Smokers who use the casino as a smoking lounge with no intention of using the casino for what it's there for. The crew on the ships are nice, it's some of the other passengers that are rude.

Last year we stayed at the Best Western Pioneer Square. The rates wern't bad, they had a nice breakfast, it was close to the Space Needle, and the rooms were large and really quiet.
