Re: did I pick the right cruise?

You chose fine. I have been on Eastern & Western several times and Western is great! The waters in Grand Caymen are unreal. Renting a jeep in Cozumel is one of our favorite excursions. Great bar...

Re: Single-not romance-cruise?

If you don't mind an inside room, voyager class ships on RCL are fairly inexpensive. Generally, there are some great deals the week before major holidays like Christmas.

Just sailed her for the 2nd time last month. Lucky week (just after the first hurricane and a week before the 2 other ones). Great ship! Cruise director was very good. Food is not the strongest...

Re: Have to bring beach towels?

They had to start charging for towels to minimize them from blowing overboard. People would leave them all over the deck. Never had a problem. Save the suitcase space for some cheesy tee-shirts to...

Re: Re: What happens if theres a hurricane???

Here are some veteran Voyager class tips. The ship does not seem crowded but there are times when strategy helps.

Sometimes you can get a free spa treatment if you get onboard early and volunteer...

Re: spa treatment

My wife LOVES the spa. It is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. Prices are comparable to a decent land based spa. I found a price list that is prob a year and 1/2 old. You can find...

Yes. You can purchase it in the duty free store and pay a fee to bring it to the room. Still much cheaper than buying it onshore.

Re: Never will cruise with RCCL again

Can't blame em for being upset. If it happened to me I would be too (no matter if the weather, RCL or myself was at fault). I'm sure after a cool down period dissapointed will reconsider. Under...

Johnny Rockets - Do they Charge now?

In the past, I have only seen a charge for soda or shake. I've read something about Navigator charging. ANyone know if this is true? I guess I wouldn't mind a nominal charge if it cuts down the...

Re: Re: Voyager class

Love the promenade deck!! Most relaxing part of the cruise. Even though we usually get a balcony, they are higher up so you don't get the same sound of the ocean.

My other favorite way to...
