I started cruising in 1988 and they were never "all inclusive". Now the upper scale lines are but not the mass market ones.

Having at least one cruise booked is certainly a help to combat PCD. Between cruises you can also get your "fix" but watching tapes of cruising shows from Travel Channel. They are running them again...
