Canadien money?

Hi..... we're sailing on the Serenade of the Seas on July 11 out of Vancouver. We will be staying in Vancouver for a few days prior to sailing to visit Victoria and tour around Vancouver. Do we...

Re: Great Tour

We also went out on this cruise and totally agree that this was a wonderful cruise. I had been on a cruise before and didn't want to do the boat tour again after been on Cool Runnings two years...

Re: Just Returned from Conquest

MnMomma,

In Jamaica we floated down the Martha Brae (a slow moving river) on a 2-person bamboo raft. It was very relaxing and lots of tropical scenery. The falls were 2 hours away by bus so we...

Re: Upset Carnival Passengers

I apologize, I wasn't intentionally exaggerating. I have no idea how to tell how many degrees we listed. An article in the New Orleans paper quoted people saying we'd listed between 25 and 40...

Re: Re: Re: Re: Upset Carnival Passengers

People were screaming and running around because they panicked when plates started crashing to the ground and people started to slip on the deck and fall down. I only saw a few people with their life...

Re: Re: Upset Carnival Passengers

We got over being scared after we settled down. That is not why I am upset. I and other passengers are upset because we believe that Carnival is lying about what made the ship list and we also feel...

Re: Re: Re: Just Returned from Conquest

Christi,

Jim is correct about the Carnival Capers. The were left on our bed (along with an animal creatively made out of towels) during turn-down and we would find them when we returned from...

Re: Re: Just Returned from Conquest

Yes, that is true. There are 4 different dinner seatings. In one dining room there were 5:45 & 8:00 seatings and in the other there were 6:15 and 8:30 seatings. I may be off plus/minus 15 minutes on...

Re: Just Returned from Conquest

We didn't try to bring anything to drink on board. I saw people carrying wine on with them. Some spring breakers we met carried liquor on in mouth wash bottles. I don't know if they looked at your...

Re: Just Returned from Conquest

I didn't notice it being terribly windy on our Verandah balcony and we sat out there quite often. It was a little humid, but I'm from Florida so it didn't seem all that bad to me. This was my second...

Re: Anyone on Conquest April 6,2003

I'd recommend Capt. Marvins snorkling and sting ray city tour. We went to 3 places (a coral reef, a barrier reef, and the sand bar where you swim with the sting rays). The tour only took 3.5 hours...

Re: Upset Carnival Passengers

Jim,

I replied to you on the Carnival message board. I'd be happy to answer any other questions. I'm surprised that no one has brought it up. It even made the New Orleans paper yesterday.

Re: Just Returned from Conquest

All they said is that the ship is supposed to sail in and out of Gulfport for the next 6 weeks. Carnival and the City of New Orleans are currently fighting with Entergy, the electric company, because...

Re: Just Returned from Conquest

Upset Carnival Passengers

Do you guys have any information on the "tilt" on the Conquest that returned to Gulf Port on Sunday. Carnival officials are saying it was wind but I, and the other passengers, think otherwise. My...

Re: Re: snorkeling St. Croix, St. Thomas or St. John

It would be hard to make it from St. Thomas to St. John/Trunk Bay and back for shopping. The boat trip over to St. John is about 20 mins. and then u need to count time to take a taxi from the harbor...
