On the idea of hotels with shuttle, we stayed in Days Inn Cocoa Beach across from the pier. They offered picking you up from the airport, and getting you to your cruise.

Activities, length.

We like fun activities (waterslides, mini golf) and a lot of the luxury lines do not have them. Also, a lot of the luxury cruises are very long, and we would get bored.

Alright, I personally haven't been there so I might not be of much help. I think it'd be best to search up Tour Operators in King's Wharf. :)

Hopefully someone else will be of more help.

While RCCL has pretty ships, they don't supply the right entertainment we are looking for. The majority of their venues are indoor. We like to enjoy the sea and the breeze.

We have booked the Carnival Ecstasy for March 3 2012! We are excited to be sailing out of Canaveral again.

We are also looking at Carnival Pride August 10 2012 out of Baltimore.

The lido is a term used to describe an open deck with a pool. I believe the word lido is italian for pool deck or pool area. :)
