I think it's easy. I have flown in once and drove many times. Parking is a little pricey compared to Galveston. I can't compare to Fort Lauderdale or Miami as it has been years since I have departed...

They have a parking garage at the pier. In march of 2010 it was 14 dollars a day. You pay when you enter. They do take credit cards. Pre Katrina you could park at a parking garage about 3 blocks away...
