"You did it again and reinvented yourself again troll boy. Why not go by the name of Prince?"

I beg your pardon sir?

Yes, you are fortunate enough to remember the ships. Unfortunately for me,...

Re: Private Balconies & Verandahs...

Aww, c'mon now, we're talking about two completely different things! A bathroom is a bare necessity, a private balcony, not so much!

Re: Formal dress for men

"My Dhubs bought a tux for our last cruise, I'd say at best only 10% wear tuxedos, most men wear suits."

The 10% figure bothers me. It largely depends on the itinerary and the cruiseline. For...

Re: Explanation: What is “formal” for men.

Would you mind explaining something really quickly?

I recenly went to a few tuxedo websites and they had one-button, two-button, and three-button tuxes. Which one is a traditional style?

Re: Private Balconies & Verandahs...

Got it everyone, thanks for expressing your views. Fisch, you had a very compelling argument--I now see why the balcony is so popular. :-) Don't get me wrong, I think they're still ugly and I wish...

Re: Private Balconies & Verandahs...

Peter,

For me, it all comes down to aesthetics. There's just something charming about a finely shaped bow and stern that attracts me. It's kind of like comparing QE2 and Norway to a Vista class...

Re: Private Balconies & Verandahs...

Ms. Hutcheson,

No, I'm not asking people to agree with me; I am, however, asking them to comment on this position and why they feel that way. My mind is able to be changed (quite easily, might I...

Re: Private Balconies & Verandahs...

I'm very sorry to hear about your claustrophobia... phobias of any kind are very unpleasant. :-(

What you say makes sense, but now, how would you feel about a "disguised" balcony?

Private Balconies & Verandahs...

Sorry guys, I know this is an odd gripe, but the private balconies and verandahs bother me. Now before I get started on why, please understand that I'm an ocean-liner purist; Normandie, Queen...

Uhh, sea-u-later, I hope you were kidding. It sounds to me that the "particular" smell was marijuana.

Princess/Cunard: Veal Piemontese

Hey everyone,

Was on the QM2 not too long ago (luncheon only, couldn't sail unfortunately) and they served "Veal Piemontese with Porcini Mushroom Ragoût, Château Potatoes and Spring Vegetables."

Re: Disease control

I don't think handwashing has to do with old people--my grandmother never does anything without washing her hands. It is in regards to everybody... now me, I'm mildly germophobic (inherited from my...

Re: Cruise Ship Gluttony

sblahars, first let me say I see your point as to how you can be disgusted by that. It is your opinion, and it is not "wrong." As far as I'm concerned, opinions are never wrong so long as there's...

Re: Re: Taking the kids out of school for a cruise

But that's the thing; if you go at the right times, it doesn't have to be expensive. If you go on on certain lines at certain times, cruising for a week can be less expensive than taking a family...

Re: Taking the kids out of school for a cruise

Again, I feel I must chime in. It does depend on the faculty, parents, but most importantly the student.

You see, I sort of look at what ya'll are saying about not taking a vacation during the...

Re: Cruise Ship Gluttony
