INDEPENDENT TOURS IN EUROPE

We will be sailing on the Dream in Oct to the Mediterranean. How easy is it to get a tour on the pier? Is it better to pre book or can we just negotiate with a driver once we get off of the ship.

Can someone tell me what the taxi fare is from Newark airport to the cruise terminal in Bayonne. Considering a Bermuda cruise next year and trying to figure out the logistics. first.

Oh my. Got to keep my husband from reading this. He's in his 70's and would think this is a great idea. He would probably start a "Balcony Club" if there isn't already one.

I used this feature also. Wound up booking with one of the agencies who gives free insurance. Saved about $200. that way.

Price wise, I have found the best deals the last week of Nov and the first two weeks of Dec. Also the first week in Jan. There are good prices in Sep, Oct and Nov but you run the risk of hurricanes...

I don't remeber the cabin number but my friend and I booked a guarantee inside cabin on the Sensation. We were thrilled to get a 4 category upgrade. We wound up across the hall in an outside cabin....

I have done both ship excursions and do-it - yourself excursions. It all depends on the island and the time factor. In St. Thomas I got a taxi to Coki Beach and took a 45 minute class in SCUBA...
