I sailed on this ship back when she was with Regal Cruises..

When I first boarded the ship I thought, "Oh my GOD! What have I gotten myself into?" At first glance she appeared to be nothing more than an old rust-bucket. By the time I was eating my first...

Okay, I just went to the "Gifts and Gear" to check out the robe. I believe it looks like it's the same robe they've given me in my cabin on the last few cruises. I really like those robes. The are...

If the waffle robes they are selling are the same ones they give you onboard to use, I MUCH prefer them to the heavy terrycloth robes! $19.99 would be a good deal on one of those robes. I may go...

It's always nice to hear that folks are still finding my aft gallery helpful! I created it after I myself had an awful time deciding about an aft cabin on the Voyager-class ships. I have always...

I've never had a problem getting my Ice Show tickets. I do NOT show up and wait in the initial line the first minute they start handing them out. I've always gone down later that morning and...

Okay, I'm sorry! They are building this ship for me!

I admit it! I am the sucker that they are catering to. I LOVE the Voyager-class ships! I think the Royal Promenade is the best invention since the wheel! I booked my cabin on Freedom the very day...

Re: Grandeur to Bermuda 7/17/05-7/22/05

mspamela,

The Cruise Director (Duane Davis) was fine. Sometimes he was very funny. I've always found the staff on our Royal Caribbean cruises to be friendly, fun, and generally good at what...

Re: Grandeur to Bermuda 7/17/05-7/22/05

Pam, the bus to Horseshoe bay was right near the ship. It was very easy! It is Bus route #7. It lets you off right at Horseshoe Bay but at the top of the hill. You just cross the street and...

Re: Grandeur to Bermuda 7/17/05-7/22/05

jaybo, our aft Junior Suite would have had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. The amount of storage space was staggering! We didn't even put a dent in the storage space and I thought I...

Grandeur to Bermuda 7/17/05-7/22/05

We just returned from a lovely cruise to Bermuda aboard Royal Caribbean’s Grandeur of the Seas. After enduring reports of crashes (into the pier at Costa Maya), blown engines, missed ports,...

Re: Booking Freedom of the Seas

I booked Freedom for April of 2007 back in February of 2005!!!! Now THAT'S early! I always book early though. I get the best choice of cabins that way! Don't worry about the money since your...

Re: Re: Explorer of the Seas...just back

Don't fret, everyone has different experiences on the same ship! I also just got off Explorer and was on her 2 years ago as well. Explorer remains to be my all-time favorite ship. Our recent trip...

Re: Re: Atlantis Resort, Nassau

You can enter the casino, lobbies, shops, etc... for no fee. You just can't wander around the outdoor areas by the pools and slides and you can't walk through the aquariums unless you purchase the...

Re: Explorer of the Seas vs Carnival Victory?

I have been on both ships also. I love Carnival and have cruised many of her ships, but Explorer of the Seas is my all-time favorite ship! She blows Victory right out of the water. Explorer has...

Re: Re: Re: Re: Voyager Class -rooms facing Promenade

Hi Lydell,
I noticed that you stayed in cabin 7583. I have booked my Mother-in-law in cabin 7283 (Voyager) which is the promenade cabin directly across from 7583. Do you think the view from...

Re: Carnival Legend or Voyager of the Seas?

Hi, I answered this on the RCCL board too, but I think Voyager is the way to go! Legend is a nice ship, but the Voyager-class ships are just AWESOME!!!!!! They are a destination in themselves!

Re: Carnival Legend or Voyager of the Seas?

Voyager, all the way! I enjoyed Legend, but the Voyager-class ships knock everyone else's socks off! A destination in themselves! You have to try one at least once!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Need help fast! about aft cabins.

I prefer 7688 to 9390. I have seen both balconies in person. 9390 is a very sunny balcony and 7688 is a shady balcony with occasional sun. I prefer to have some shade myself. 7688's balcony is...

7688 and 7388 both have the double slider doors. They also have the largest balconies on the ship! Go for it!

You can't always predict what the seas will be like due to changing weather patterns, but if there has not been a recent storm pass by, the trip to Canada from NY should be fine. I've done this...
