We did cruise tour in August. I would do 2 nights in Denali there is more to do there. We did Princess and we were very pleased.

Alaska is about seeing the scenery not about the food and what someone is wearing. Like in general is alot more casual now than it used to be. Some people get away to have fun and experience...

Nikon make a 7x50 called Ocean Pro that is really great and it is also waterproff. Not a real cheap one but it is an investment that you will have a long time.

Doing cruise/tour to Alaska end of Aug. I understand that if you do cruise first yoou pack luggage for the cruise and luggage for the tour. The luggage for the tour goes ahead to the tour...

Sorry I was wrong on the $39 to the cruise ship. It is $39 to downtown. It sound like service to the cruise ship starts at $47. Still divided by 3 couples that is not bad. There are 2 ports...

I googled Vancouver limo services. It came up with several the website I checked was Limojet Gold. The website had alot of info about arriving international and maps of the airport.

Thanks for the info. I checked with a Vancouver Limo web site and they gave a price of $39 so price may not have gone up too much.

Is it hard to get a cab from the airport to the pier? Or should we book the shuttle service through the cruise line? Our flight is to arrive at 11:30. Leaving on Aug 29th on Sun Princess.
