We enjoyed Talkeetna. Of course, we were in our own rental car. Denali (Mt. McKinley) was out for us to enjoy. Ate at Latitude 62 - very good food. Quaint little town.

Yes! Trains fill up, depending on number of ships in port. Buy it through the ship - ours was only $5 more through the ship than directly.
