Re: Re: How deep are the pools on Diamond Princess?

I think that the fresh water pools actually do have some salt in them, because I noticed that I was floating easily, like you do in salt water. It could be that their desalination only removes a...

Island Princess Hawaii cruise

I'm planning to take the 15-day Hawaii cruise either in April or September. Can anyone comment on which month would be better, and if port or starboard is better to see volcanoes.

Thanks!

Re: What is Princess Cays Like?

Princess Cays is great, because you only have to bring your cruise card and a towel. The buffet is great, expecially the beef ribs. Lots of fresh fruit and other salads, too.

Re: Ashore in Mexico...Help!!!

We enjoyed the La Quebrada cliff divers in Acapulco. Stopkeepers in Huatulco do not speak English or give out American change. If you want to go to the beach in Cabo, take a cab not a water taxi....

Re: Utter Disappointment

I could not have said it better myself!
In general, I find that the majority of people who cruise are friendly, courteous, fun-loving, adventurous, generous.... basically just like me.

Re: Coffee!

Your day of embarkation is not counted as the first day of your cruise, believe it or not. Day One is your first full day on the ship. The day you get off the ship is considered a day, though. And...
