Any advice on traveling single? I am not looking for a huge party experience - just want to lay in the sun for a week - but would love to meet some people....
anyone have any experience with singles & the Norway? I've been on it before w/friends
I'm looking to cruise the week of april 8th....

Carnival is the best bet, majority is under 40. I've been to 18 cruises and my
last 6 was on carnival. Have lots of fun on all carnival cruises and met lots of
other singles on board.
Once I was assigned to a table of all couples for dinner. I asked to switch to
different table with singles. No problem at all, the next night I was seated with
a table all singles.
I made 2 bookings with Carnival this years already very reasonable fares.

No need to feel awkward about traveling alone. There are hundreds of singles like yourself who choose to cruise with a group of singles. You can do as much or as little with the group as you want. Just a great way to meet other singles without families/kids. There are activities geared towards singles, as well as a separate area of the dining room for singles.
