I'm looking to cruise solo as well. I had January in mind... don't care where as long as it is warm. I'm easy going, flexible and have a billion interests. Let me know what you had in mind.
Am a SWF, 46 yo looking for partners for 2003. Am planning a Sydney to Bangkok, 18 days (might be too long for you) in March. Already have a MWF going from Bangkok to Rome April 8 to May 8.
Plan to stay at the Srs of Notre Dame Guest House in rome, across from the Borgesse gardens (very inexpensive and they are so nice!) from May 8 to 16. Then may take Venice to Barcelona mini suite and maybe return (12 days each way) to Venice.
Will tutor my 13 yo nephew when he is out of school, throughout Italy, then will take a train to Paris and go to Euro Disney, Chartre, Normandy and end up in England, for possible cruises out of Southampton in July. I am a tutor, that's how I pay for my cruises. So, as long as you don't mind young people or old ones and are interested in any of these itineraries, let me know. Have a relative in the cruise industry, so get an INCREDIBLE deal!
Saw your email to Jay and noticed you wanted to go some place warm in January. I hope you found your trip... Well, it's June now and you probably don't want to go someplace warm.
I've noticed a lot of people look for this if they are from colder climes in the winter. I am interested in just about any cruise but don't have much interest in the Carribean. I am SWF, 46 and can leave just about any time, winter or summer. Have access to VERY CHEAP fares, but would prefer to go out of the west coast, or to the Med or to Europe or the Orient. Have planned a group tour with my girl friends in my Art Association next May 2003, Venice to Barcelona, 12 days. VERY GOOD value! Also have an inexpensive place to stay in Rome.
I'm travelling from Sydney, 18 days to Bangkok and need a cruise partner. Already have a MWF from Bangkok to Rome (30 days).
Will tutor my 13 yo nephew when he gets out of school next summer and can come to Rome. After our cruise, we will head to Paris and Euor Disney, then maybe Normandy and then the British Isles meeting up with my nephew's mom for another 12 day cruise.
Yes, I know this sounds pretty extensive, but child care is a tax deduction and I am reimbursed enough to make it worth it.
