I'm also interested in a January cruise, I'm a very independent, active 50 year old female who used to cruise with my husband (now divorced) and miss the experience. I can't quite bring myself to go all by myself but would like to go with a casual companion, as you said for the occasional dinner, show etc. I don't like RCC (the food was lousy on the one cruise I went with them) but both the Celebrity and Norwegian cruises that you mention would be great. You don't list the price for the Norwegian, but generally cruises out of Miami, rather the San Juan are preferable to me because the airfare is so much less.
hi, if you make it on Navigator of the Seas on Jan 24-28 sailing, just knock on cabin 1283 deck 10, we can go and have a drink, or see if we can sit at the same table.

Just a note of caution - I have been told I occasionally snore a little and I prefer inside cabins as they are cheaper and tend to make me less queasy.
I am open to most any cruise from 4-11 days long - trying to keep the price under $1,000.
Primarily I am looking at piggy-backing 2 short cruises out of Ft Lauderdale and would like a cabinmate for either one.
5 Night RC Navigator of the Seas Jan 19-24 (from $470)
4 Night RC Navigator of the Seas Jan 24-28 (from $350)
but would also consider a longer cruise such as:
11 night Celebrity Galaxy out of San Juan (from $904)
10 Night Norwegian Jewel out of Miami 1/18-1/27
Would like to book soon so I can budget and get my passport etc.
Hi, Are you still looking for a roommate? I'm 48, female, nonsmoker, independent as well as live in New England. I'm on a budget, so inside cabin is fine. I also snore at time. I'm more interested in the shorter cruises.
